Artist's Comments I finally finished this! ^_^I haven't been working on it for a while because I thought I lost it, but then it turned out that my mom put it under a bunch of papers to keep it "protected". *rolls eyes* Anyhows if you can't tell it's a unicorn walking through a portal into possibly unknown lands, and glancing back at her old homeland. It makes me think of questions like, what is she leaving behind? Is she rethinking leaving her home? Makes you think a bit  Gah, my scanner totally killed it.  Um, origanally she was going to have an egyptian eye marking, but when I drew it it looked like she was emo or something so I had to erase it. Unfortunatly the eye went with it, but the new one looks pretty good. I've never draw a desert really so thats my excuse on why the sand dunes are bad. X3 Colored with color pencils and smoothed the lines out a bit in photoshop. No ref! I could not find a good one for this position so I gave up after searching through at least 20 pages on google and deviantart and through my calanders.  |

Yeah it was fun to draw. I wish I could have blended the sky more so you wouln't be able to see the annoying pencil marks but I don't have a blending stump *pouts*
I finally learned how to draw cloved hooves! When I first tried drawing them in my "emo" horse picture they looked soooo bad. They look ok now though
